ABOUT THIS SITE
It's a way to enjoy photography, share what little I've learned with others, and to perhaps learn a bit more as I go. This is old fashioned site development, so no fancy scripts or advertisement.

WHAT'S UP WITH THE SQUIRREL?
My home is adjacent to the Red River. The woodland river banks are home to deer, rabbits, racoons. You name it and it probably lives there. Squirrels are the most gregarious. For over 40 years they've come to the house for a treat, somehow say thanks with their eyes. They are a constant source of entertainment. They seemed like a good choice for the name.

Magnum Photography - Created over 80 years ago by a dedicated group of photographers endorsing and supporting photojounalism by creating a cooperative. You can learn more about the founders, as well as view some of the finest in photojournalism in the world, past and present.
Photographer's Formulary (Alternative Photography) - A great resource to locate other resources. Much easier than me trying list all the various suppliers.
Ilford Photo - Not to be confused with Ilford.com as the latter provides color digital. Ilford photo is quickly becoming the best source of darkroom products although Kodak is still chugging away.
Kodak - Still in the game and producing black and white film and chemicals. Now called Kodak Alaris
